DESCRIPTION:Team Huronic at the Barrie Dragon Boat Festival\nTeam Huronic is excited to participate in the Barrie Dragon Boat Festival! \nThe Barrie Public Library is the proud host of the Barrie Dragon Boat Festival held annually in beautiful Heritage Park. The festival brings teams together for a fun-filled day of camaraderie and fundraising while racing dragon boats on Kempenfelt Bay. \nThe Barrie Dragon Boat Festival is presented by Tim Hortons\, our Title Sponsor. The festival is made possible by the support of our sponsors\, volunteers\, and community partners and teams. Between 2003 and 2024\, the festival has raised over 2 million dollars for more than 60 charities– including the Barrie Public Library’s Future Branches Campaign. \n\nLocation Details\n\n\nThe Barrie Dragon Boat Festival is located at Heritage Park in Barrie\, Ontario; see our map with main roads on how to get there.  \nPlease note that there is some confusion between Centennial Park\, and Heritage Park.
