Paddling For All Ages On
South Georgian Bay

Welcome to the Collingwood Paddling Club. We offer safe, inclusive, and fun paddling programs – for both recreational and competitive paddlers – in the heart of Collingwood.

Welcome to the Collingwood Paddling Club

Located just south of the historic Collingwood Grain Terminals at the Watts Boathouse, the Collingwood Paddling Club is a local, not-for-profit community dedicated to getting people on the water. Since 2004, our mission has been simple: to positively impact our community by promoting safe, inclusive, and healthy physical activity on the South Georgian Bay.

Whether you are a beginner looking to try an open paddle, an adult joining our recreational dragon boat crew, or a youth athlete training for sprint canoe and kayak racing, we have a seat for you. Our diverse fleet features everything from modern surfskis and outrigger canoes (OC-1s) to the jewel of our club: an 80-year-old restored C-15 war canoe.

As a proud member of Canoe Kayak Canada (CKC) and Canoe Kayak Ontario Sprint, we provide a safe, controlled environment for all skill levels. We also actively champion the True Sport movement – believing that sport should teach respect, honesty, fair play, and lifelong commitment.

Proudly Supported By

The Collingwood Paddling Club is incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of our local sponsors, community partners, and grant providers. A special thank you goes to the Ontario Trillium Foundation. Since 2005, their generous funding has been instrumental to our club’s growth – allowing us to purchase essential paddling equipment, lovingly restore the historic Watts Boathouse for our members, and bring on dedicated staff to run our programs.
