Are you passionate about water sports, community health, and youth development? The Collingwood Paddling Club (CPC) is one of the premier outdoor recreation hubs on the South Georgian Bay, and we are always looking for energetic leaders to help us run our programs.

Second Vice Flag OfficerAdministrativeThe Second Vice Flag Officer is a volunteer Director on the Collingwood Paddling Club Board. They support the Flag Officers in the leadership of the Club, assist with planning and coordination of Club activities, and step in to represent the Club when required.
TreasurerFinanceThe Treasurer is a volunteer Director on the Collingwood Paddling Club Board. They manage the finances of the Club, liaise with the external bookkeeper, report on the Club’s financial performance, and make recommendations to the Board of Directors.
CommunicationsOperationsThe Communications Director is a volunteer Director on the Collingwood Paddling Club Board. They manage Club communications, including website updates, email newsletters, and social media, and help ensure members and the community are kept informed about Club activities and events.
Equipment & Facilities DirectorOperationsThe Equipment & Facilities Director is a volunteer Director on the Collingwood Paddling Club Board. They oversee the maintenance, repair, and organization of Club equipment and facilities, ensuring everything is safe, functional, and ready for use throughout the season.

Employment FAQs

We typically post our summer seasonal roles (like Camp Counselors and Summer Coaches) in late February or early March. Interviews are conducted in the Spring so our team is fully assembled by May!
Yes! Our Summer Paddle Camp Counselor positions and junior coaching roles are fantastic summer jobs for local high school and university students who love the outdoors.
If you are applying for a specialized coaching role, Canoe Kayak Canada (CKC) certifications are often required. However, the club frequently supports the development of our staff and can occasionally help facilitate your training before the season starts. Please reach out to discuss your specific situation.
