Life at the Collingwood Paddling Club

The Collingwood Paddling Club is more than just a place to workout – it is a vibrant, year-round community. We believe in the True Sport movement, bringing people together both on and off the water to foster respect, fair play, and lifelong friendships.

Throughout the year, we host a wide variety of events designed for all ages and skill levels. Whether you are cheering on our Youth Racing team at a local sprint regatta, rolling up your sleeves for our annual Spring Boathouse Cleanup, or enjoying a sunset paddle followed by a community BBQ, this page is your central hub for all club dates.

We Run on Volunteer Power!

Did you know that the Collingwood Paddling Club is a local not-for-profit organization? Almost all of our community events and regattas are made possible by the incredible dedication of our volunteers. You do not need to be a paddler to help out! If you are a parent, family member, or community supporter who wants to get involved at our next event, we would love to have you.

Event FAQs

Paddlers love the water, so we typically paddle rain or shine! However, if there are high winds, thunderstorms, or lightning, all on-water events will be delayed or cancelled for safety. We will notify participants via email or social media if an event is called off.
It depends on the event! Our end-of-season BBQs and public clinics are often open to family, friends, and the public. Specific competitive training events or team practices are reserved for registered members only. Check the details of each specific event for attendance rules.
When you click into a specific event on our schedule above, you will find a button to “Add to Google Calendar” or “Export to iCal” so you never miss an important date.
